On the Ninth Day of Christmas

my true love gave to me

Nine Ladies Dancing
The nine Fruit of the Holy Spirit: 1) love, 2) joy, 3) peace, 4) patience, 5) kindness,
6) generosity, 7) faithfulness, 8) gentleness, and 9) self-control.  (Galatians 5:22)

On the ninth day of Christmas, we took the kids bowling.  I have to say I have not been in a long time and bowling has gotten lazy!!  It keeps score for you and shows flashy little cartoons between turns just in case bowling itself can’t hold your attention. But off my soapbox and onto pictures.  The kids had a lot of fun.  Jack thinks he is a really good bowler and we all think he is really modest. 😉

The dashing shoes!

Elizabeth had pretty good ball control.

bowl2

Anne Michal was into ricochet balls.

bowl3

He was quite the little professional.  He was very conscientious about making sure he didn’t  interupt the people bowling in the lane next to us and  waiting for his pins to set up.

bowl4

Emma was the funniest bowler, running with little short steps and then heaving the ball.

  1. Does that mean Jon was in first place by only 3 points? And where was the picture of you bowling? Sounds like you all have been having a ball (pun intended). 🙂 I wait with anticipation to see what you are doing each day. Makes me wish I was a kid in your family instead of the grandma. LOL

  2. Bowling! I love bowling! And I think you should frame the pic of the shoes. Seriously. Cool pic!!!
