Tomorrow

Jack turns 5 tomorrow.
He is very, very excited.
I am not sure that I know anyone else more excited about birthdays.

I remembered today why I usually make cakes other than that I enjoy making something they’ll like.

They are much cheaper to make.
But you know how sometimes they just really want something and you just really want to give it to them.
He really wants a Cars cake.
I hate character things.
I always have.
But I have a softspot for Cars.
‘Cause Knox loved that silly movie.
I wish he could share Jack’s birthday with us.
I know they’d have so much fun.
